@waterninja12345 @nameless_produc the word "depression" has multiple definitions, you can be in a state of depression without necessarily having a depressive disorder

@nameless_produc “Depression” is a really bad way of putting it, unless actual depression can come and go in under 2 days be cured with someone belting you with snowballs is actually right. Labeling a character who is demotivated and sulking as depressed does harm to what depression actually is.

I think a lot of people don't understand the context behind Ash's depression, so it ends up being labeled as an OOC moment for Ash.
