last year, i was working as a manager at a shop when beomgyu came in as a customer. even now, i only like txt moderately and only know songs like "crown" and "i’ll see you there tomorrow" but back then, i knew even less. it wasn't the type of business where a customer just visits once and is done, so his father always came everytime and beomgyu came once on the last day. the shop owner was attending to them in a separate office and called me in to bring some documents. i just thought about how hard it must be for him to deal with his fame wherever he goes, so i gave a quick greeting, put the documents on the table, and was about to leave. but in that short split second, both beomgyu and his father stood right up to greet me. beomgyu bowed so deeply that if it weren't for the table, it would have been a 90 degree "folder bow” from then on, whenever txt pops up somewhere, i find myself getting interested and watching them. as i keep watching, i can feel that beomgyu and the other members are all living their lives so diligently. at that point in their career and with that level of popularity, they've probably earned a lot, so being able to act like that was a small shock to me. now, whenever i feel like being cynical towards the world, i think of beomgyu, who stood up so quickly to greet me and is living his life diligently and i tell myself to become a kind and sincere person.”
