i learned programming through public media, i learned art and history and literature thru public media. whatever your partisan alignment, please donate to NPR and other public media. so many roblox devs are dripping in $, if nothing else, donate to the public media that helped u.

i remember telling my mom that i earned money, for the first time in my life, by making games. were it not for public media, public information, i would never have known it was something i could pursue. please, donate to public media. it helps ALL OF US.

i learned about game development being an actual career through public radio. i am from rural SC, no one in my entire town knew that i could make money making games, i thought that learning programming was as frivolous as drawing or painting. NPR told me that it mattered.
