The amount of vile comments I see under any desi or southeast Asian creator is absurd. Racism towards us always parrots the same 3 brain dead “jokes” that all Indians are scammers, primitives who shit in the street, and that we stink. And that we’re taking all the good jobs.

This racism has always been prevalent and I feel like the tipping point for this was when Pewdiepie made those videos so long ago. Seeing another uptick as MAGA co-opts this racism to peddle more propaganda to their base.
