@Moonsatellite Wouldn’t the lack of an explanation be entirely by design given the premise of the Backrooms? You’d kinda undercut the esoteric horror by lifting the veil. It’s mostly why the idea resonated so much to begin with.

@blvze97 it’s bad lol. Wooden performances, plot holes you can cannonball thru, NO EXPLANATION for the supernatural element, dumb character logic, random characters who may or may not relate to the main characters or story because ‘fuck it’… don’t get scammed

@Bozzman__ Good to know! I’ve seen his shorts and there’s definitely talent there so I just find it hard to buy into the notion that he hopelessly fumbled his own idea, like many are suggesting.

@blvze97 It felt like a big budget, live action extention of his original series and it was really really good imo! Didn't feel like jingling keys at all, and it was a true testament to the directors artistry. Obviously some things that couldve been better, but it was damn good!
