Critical Control - Amazing team 👏

1/2 A busy night for us at Bude last night. We were initially sent to Launceston to provide fire cover whilst they dealt with an incident over the border. We were quickly sent to a small fire in the open - advice was given to the owner. We were then asked to proceed to…..

This drone footage was taken by Scott last weekend. You can see how quickly the fire can spread. Thankfully no one was hurt and there was only superficial fire damage to the nearby building.

1/2 A triple 'long service' achievement for three of the Bude crew last week. Firefighter Gareth Clark; with an outstanding 30 years' service - joining "Cornwall County Fire Brigade" on the 16th Jan 1995, plus Firefighter Gav Cornish and Crew Manager Barney Day;

2/2 who both joined "CCFB" together on 17th Jan 2005. Congratulations gents - tremendous achievements with an incredible 70 years' combined experience between just three of the 18 crew in Bude. 👏 🫡 🏅
