@hailstateunis Yeah I think it’s dark enough that you can avoid the normal gray/white rules. Maroon hats white/pinstripe pants would maybe be a sweet midweek look

@bmitchell1810 If we wanted to wear it at home at some point I could see it. Also wouldn't be surprised if we do maroon hats with it at some point this season. It's basically the black jersey, just a few shades lighter and w/o sleeve stripes. So the same mixing + matching could apply.

@hailstateunis @HailStateBB I love an all white or all gray uniform, so I wouldn’t complain. I think State has done so much to push “Maroon Friday” that it wouldn’t happen tho. I think I’ll go to the grave seeing maroon 85’s on Friday nights, but I’d be completely okay with that

@bmitchell1810 @HailStateBB Completely agreed. I'd love to see them back at some point, and they're such a classic look that I'm sure they will be sooner or later. But they're a clear third behind White '85s and White Pins IMO. Could just have three white jerseys for a year or two. We've done it before 🤷‍♂️
