I redesigned a real Chowdeck UX moment. I asked a friend to pay for my food. He said yes, so I placed the order and went to send him the payment link. But then I started thinking: He uses Chowdeck too. Why is the payment leaving the app? So I explored a simple improvement: what if Chowdeck generated a payment code alongside the payment link? The link still works for anyone. The code works faster for existing Chowdeck users. The payer can open Chowdeck, enter the code, review the order, and pay with wallet, card, or transfer all inside the app. Small change. Smoother shared payment experience.
