The way I look at Ayton, the Lakers basically got Mark Williams without having to give up Dalton Knecht, a 1st rounder and pick swap from the rescinded trade last season.

Can we honestly stop with the if AD gets hurt? Like injuries happen. Of course the team will struggle. But compared to any other team in the west. Which team can most afford to lose one ( or both) of their star players for a little time? If Houston loses KD it’s over for them. If Mavs lose Ad for a little time you don’t think DLo Klay Flagg PJ and Lively can hold it down until they get back? We watched Spencer Klay Marshall Edwards Kai jones limp us to the play-in last year.

Im still mad about luka getting traded. But mav fans do not think they are gonna be a playoff team with that kinda talent is crazy. Jason Kidd has won with less! He gonna figure out the regular season even if Ad hurt. The playoffs are where the superstar matters the most.
