The Bitcoin Network State project is destined for tremendous success; it reminds me so much of the unbeatable feeling I had when I joined EOS back in 2017.

Establishing citizenship, building a population structure (street → district → state), and forming strong social bonds are the essential foundations of the Population Phase — the first step in building the Bitcoin Network State.

Regarding the concept of the network state mentioned by @balaji, I have yet to see any project more likely to be realized than the Bitcoin Network State.

@balajis I believe the most challenging aspect of the network state you mentioned is how to maintain activity and collaboration within the community system, and I haven't yet seen a mature product that addresses this.

I don’t think the goal is remaining “pure” forever, particularly if that’s defined as never becoming useful enough to make money. Instead, if an organization truly starts losing sight of its original purpose, it is eventually replaced. If however it is correctly *balancing* that purpose with practicality, it’s not easily replaced.

Different people are wired differently, but I basically agree. Salesforce and Oracle were indeed built by money-motivated men. But Apple and Twitter were art projects. SpaceX and Tesla were engineering feats. And Bitcoin and Zcash are ideological campaigns. So: money is a metric, but not the only one, and the “capitalism” part of technocapitalism has been stressed a bit too much in recent times. Because the drive to make great art, to advance science, to win in a just cause, will always produce more peak energy than the merely pecuniary. But then, on a daily basis, you have to eat too. I think of it like cross country skiing. Sometimes you’re advancing with the right ski, and sometimes the left. So when the cause hits a setback, at least there’s a paycheck. But when there is no paycheck, you are driven by the righteousness of your cause.

The geospatial design is not a metaverse. It provides a lightweight 3D design to enhance user experience and foster a sense of belonging.

Ten citizens form one Street; twenty-one Streets form one District; ten Districts form one Continent. The commonwealth grows organically as citizens join, with each citizen automatically joining their respective Street and District groups upon entry.

The experience of residents joining a country is crucial—it's a fundamental element for establishing a network state. That's why I designed a reality-based geo-system, allowing this network state to grow organically.

If the identity system defines "who the citizens are," then the OS defines "how citizens collectively build, govern, and live." It transforms like-minded individuals into a powerful entity capable of collective action.

We have built a passport system for the network state, issuing it to groups who meet the criteria and identify with the concept of the network state.

2. Forging a new set of social collaboration protocols, allowing this group to engage in effective collective action and create shared value.

Building a network state, in essence, is about creating the following in digital space: 1. Defining a new social identity contract, enabling people to "become" citizens of a community in a novel way.

The genesis block is mined. The Bitcoin Network State is now founded. A new chapter for sovereignty begins. #Bitcoin
