My heart can’t handle these two babies failed by humans 💔🥺 I put a hold on Mona so she is not TBK and I’m planning to send them to training early next week. We already have an angel volunteer for their freedom ride @TOTrojan1 🙏🏼 and any pledges will help us tremendously! We already have 5 dogs in training (2400/month per dog 😮💨😮💨😮💨) and we want to continue rescuing and not being stopped by lack of funds . Mona and Myrtle are overwhelmed and under-socialized. Shelter notes show high anxiety, barrier reactivity, and lack of proper socialization. Once given time and structure, they do show moments of decompression & affection but they need experienced handling and training to succeed.
These girls are not bad dogs — they are dogs who were never taught how to cope.

🔹 Best chance is rescue, foster with experience, committed adopter
Without intervention, dogs like Mona and Myrtle are the ones who get overlooked and left behind.
They urgently need someone who understands patience, and decompression.

The moment they became “available,” they were pushed straight onto the euthanasia list.
No decompression. No time. No real chance.
These are terrified dogs, not dangerous ones, yet they now carry physical injuries that tell a disturbing story. Same trauma. Same pattern. Different dogs. That is not bad luck. That is failure 😤 owner surrender in the fields !
They were already scared when Animal Control picked them up. Instead of care, they were handled with force. Fear was treated like defiance and now they’re paying with their lives.
Volunteer interacted with them, they took treats from her hand. Fearful? Yes.
Aggressive? Absolutely not.
If no one steps up NOW, they will be killed for being scared.
