Openbrief opzegging abonnement @telegraaf ivm framing @lidewij_devos en @fvdemocratie ‘Beste redactie van @telegraaf, Met deze brief zeg ik per direct mijn abonnement op. Ik ben het zat. Wat zich de afgelopen tijd in uw krant afspeelt, heeft niets meer te maken met kritische journalistiek. Forum voor Democratie wordt consequent en gemakzuchtig weggezet als “extreemrechts”, terwijl daar geen enkele feitelijke onderbouwing voor is. Niet in het partijprogramma. Niet in de ingediende moties. Niet in het stemgedrag in de Tweede Kamer. Dit is geen analyse. Dit is framing. U herhaalt een politiek label alsof het een vaststaand feit is, terwijl u nalaat het te bewijzen. Dat is geen journalistiek, dat is propaganda met een krantentitel erboven. En juist dat verwacht ik niet van een medium dat zichzelf ooit profileerde als onafhankelijk en scherp. Ik betaal niet voor een krant die me vertelt wat ik moet denken in plaats van mij te informeren. Ik betaal niet voor suggestie, insinuatie en napraterij van het dominante narratief. En ik weiger nog langer bij te dragen aan media die afwijkende politieke stromingen demoniseren in plaats van inhoudelijk beoordelen. Daarom roep ik andere gezond-rechts denkende Nederlanders op om hetzelfde te doen:
zeg je abonnement op. Trek je steun in. Laat zien dat vertrouwen niet onbeperkt is. Wie structureel framing verkiest boven feiten, verliest zijn lezers. Zo simpel is het. Dit is geen misverstand.
