@bob_digga Hey there! I replied to your FB message but here's a condensed answer. So DAKboard is actually cloud-hosted. The Pi is used simply to connect to it. You create your DAKboard account with any sub, free or paid, to connect it to the Pi.

@dakboard was wondering about self hosting on a pi and how free/essential/plus works. would the Dakboard OS have the free version installed, and still have to subscribe? if so, are there any upgrades included by going the self hosted route? thank you.
