Frankly I am deeply ashamed" 2,700+ people have been arrested for holding up signs If someone commits criminal damage or attacks another person, they should absolutely be prosecuted. Those are crimes and should be dealt with through the normal justice system. But arresting people simply for holding up signs expressing support raises a serious question about freedom of expression and proportionality. Also, how can it be right for people to be treated as terrorists when a jury never convicted them of terrorism? I'm with Baron Hain on this. How about you?

The DWP uses several checking methods before and after paying claims There are several millions of people in any large economy who do not contribute to the traditional workforce Retirees, students, carers, sick

What we can’t afford is to support several million people who don’t contribute to the workforce .. The welfare bill is larger than the GDP of some countries and continues to rise .. Billions wasted on fraudulent claims with no checks .. Lifting the two child benefit cap was unacceptable.. Meanwhile millions of pensioners who’ve paid in their entire lives are on a basic state pension which I doubt you could live on .. So let’s discuss that 🤷‍♀️
