@jesterscritter No messages. But, I have been getting some weird follows lately (some liked a CR retweet). The accounts are all pretty old, but they keep posting about the same project and seem to be artists. Definitely seemed weird!

❣️ important ❣️ Scammers are apparently after Critter accounts right now. They tell you they reported you for a commission scan & regret for realising “it wasn’t you”. It’s all nonsense. So keep an eye out! Immediately block them & don’t give them your discord! #criticalrole

@mightyneinsimp Not for the campaign itself. And given that Jess works on the animated series, definitely not for that.

@svitanokvpoli Beacon members can typically expect an actually live BTS video before the show is happening that’s about an hour long where we see the cast get ready (and usually cause chaos). It’s very fun! 2/2

@svitanokvpoli Not live streamed! They usually come to Beacon 4-6ish weeks after the show. And then a few weeks after that to Twitch and YouTube (often for break week). Previously, they have also paired with Cinemark & Regal movie theaters to release a few days after the live show. 1/

@geomathMEW @dropout It’s bad out there. There’s also a cost issue. Most smaller venues lose money on most shows. Venues that are small enough to not work with LN aren’t going to be able to afford hosting a tour with this many performers. Often, performers get paid a set rate before ticket sales.

@geomathMEW @dropout The issue there is that the audience that Dropout draws is much to large for that size of a space. I agree that’s likely a more ethical option, but that then ends up with fans being angry because tickets sold out too quickly due to how few they there were.

@bobcattails @dropout there is a local improv group in my town, who does ticketed events in the event spaces in types of places like breweries and such. i get for a concert it might be tough with lighting, equipment, and sound but for improv all you really need is the space, talent, and a mic

@geomathMEW @dropout Even smaller production companies are forced to work with LiveNation in a lot of venues. It’s a horrible situation, but the monopoly LiveNation has doesn’t give artists any real options.

@geomathMEW @dropout I’ve worked in concert production. It’s not that simple. They would likely have to go with smaller venues that wouldn’t meet capacity. Or they could simply not tour at all to avoid LiveNation at Ticketmaster (which, I think is viable. They could do ticketed online shows). 1/

@geomathMEW @dropout LiveNation has a stranglehold on both venues and production for locations of any significant size. It is very difficult to do a tour like this without being forced to involve them.

@ChrisBryant87 @thrluv Mint is not a deterrent for cats. Catnip (sometime called catmint) is in the mint family and many cats like mint (even if it is not good for them in larger quantities). Citrus can also be toxic for cats.

@thrluv Spray bottle, some mint leaves inside, fill it with water. Spritz around the areas you dont want them near. Or some drops of lemon or lime juice in the water instead of mint leaves. Works with dogs too.

@Zoeeveelution @CriticalRole The Monday weekly schedule this week said they wouldn’t be back til next week. I believe they still have some staff on hand when the episodes air in case there are tech issues, so I’m sure they were keeping that in mind when deciding how long to be on break.

@JennyENicholson Not sure if this counts. Lawrence, Kansas has a small animatronic prairie dog at the KU Natural History Museum. He goes up and down in his hole, but does not move beyond that.

I welcome suggestions of animatronic spots to add, or fresh confirmation of whether entries on the map actually still exist or are defunct. I do have my own arbitrary rules for what counts (and am not including animatronics in rides inside of theme parks)

A lot of people were curious about my animatronic map, so my gift to you - I made a copy that everyone can look at. Always visit as many animatronics as you can google.com/maps/d/u/2/edi…

@robakwzupie @acestheater @6luelights There’s an episode where the psychologist shows her photos to try to get her to identify emotions based solely on facial expressions. They didn’t need to make it explicit, but it’s there.

@lex_Transformer @caylebwidogast Yes!! They have several of them. One for each of the first three campaigns and an additional Campaign 3 one that’s Fearne and the Feywild themed.
