Have you noticed that the EU countries that have approved FSD don’t have local automakers, and the countries that have pushed back the most do have local automakers? Perhaps this isn’t really an argument about safety at all.

It’s absolutely insane that Europeans are forced to use a 6 year old obsolete Basic Autopilot system when FSD exists
People are being forced to use a system that is more dangerous to protect the European auto industry. It’s nuts.

@Teslarati I wouldn't compare Apple with Tesla. Apple phones are high quality, and their software is super high quality too. Neither of these applies to Tesla. Just look at the paint quality, the sign‑reading, navigation, cruise control etc.

@lamoroso77 @Teslarati that’s an odd take. imagine having not optimal experience with a product and being told “it’s your fault - go talk to someone, don’t complain”, instead of admitting the manufacturer of said product has the responsibility (and best interest) to fix/improve.. odd

Feature Request: I want to tell my Tesla that I'm going on a long trip on a certain date in future. It should charge to 100% as a one-off the night before and then revert to the regular charge level.
