Tested positive despite never letting my guard down sigh. Thankfully the symptoms are manageable - fever's gone since 2 days ago, just the phlegmy coughs I have a problem with. Self-isolating atm. Please please please stay safe all. And pray that I get out of this rut soon. :")

Been a crazy month. Was initially glad to have on-site project works but getting denied vaccination twice & the maddening surge of cases has made me retreat to the safe refuge of my little Free York home. Don't know what else to say except stay home & safe, y'all. Godspeed.

The amount of apologist posts I've seen circulating on my feed is just depressing. Just cos someone did good or achieved things in their life does not negate the fact that they were a scumbag that violated others' bodily autonomy & made others' lives miserable. Deep sigh.

Many people brush off the real life harms survivors had to go through cos most likely they've never been placed in such a vulnerable position where they feel so helpless and degraded. It's bad enough that it happened. It's even worse when others call you a liar for speaking up.

I swear ya, sexual violence is prolly the only crime where victims are required to understand (and often, forgive) the assailant. They're forced to internalize a narrative that it may be their fault, making them question the validity of the personal trauma experienced.
