Today, CBS announced that the TV series Tracker is moving from Canada to Los Angeles because of the expanded state tax credit we fought for. This comes with overall production in L.A. on the rise for the first time in years.
At City Hall, I’ve slashed fees, cut red tape, and empowered a Film Czar to provide concierge service to productions.
The relocation of Tracker underscores why I am calling for the state to end the cap on the tax credit to maximize the number of good-paying, union jobs that we bring back to L.A.
