My speed was never the problem. My mind was. I was just as fast in college, maybe slightly slower. I got in my head about getting caught stealing. I’ve been caught stealing 12 times in my college career. Proceeded to go 6 for 6 my first year in Indy ball.

Going into independent professional baseball I knew I had to utilize my speed more on the base path. Specifically, situational steals.

- 243 plate appearances my senior year of college, 8 SB’s. - 63 plate appearances in independent baseball, 6 SB’s.
