Ashanti who has been extremely unproblematic her entire 25 years in the game.
I will always respect her ability to write a song and not just any song, but A HIT SONG.
I don’t think we’ve given her enough credit over the years for the heavy hits she put on the charts and simultaneously at that. Three platinum albums back to back in 2002, 2003, and 2004.
That shit is not easy. When it’s all said & done, Auntie Ashanti is a problem [real fans caught that reference] and is a legend.
Never forget she was once the biggest pop star in R&B and the biggest R&B star in Pop.
