Not spending time on Twitter then coming back has made me strengthen my belief that uk politics has a neek problem. It’s so obvious that a massive portion of the political youth have no real life experience and treat politics as a replacement for football.

@EasterGammon This is also why a lot of the online right will never quote any PM before ~thatcher (excluding the obvious). Because there are no videos of their speeches so they might as well just not exist

@HeracleanVision One of the most remarkable things about the non-white london population is that most of them just never venture anywhere else in the country other than london. They live p much their entire lives inside the M25 and just fly out to go on holiday

One of the things that keeps London so liveable despite its demographic situation is that minorities in London are some of the most provincial people in the world. It is by no means uncommon for blacks born in Zone 2 to reach adulthood without visiting the city centre.
George Spencer@HeracleanVision

Yeah, if you live in Battersea, Clapham, Dulwich, or Highgate, work in Westminster or the City, and hang out at Sloane Square or Covent Garden, London is a great city to live in. Don't see a lot of multiculturalism in those places though...

Orbán's defeat in Hungary is a reminder to everyone on the right: the economy matters. People will not accept being materially worse off for stricter immigration policies.

"Ok Lowe, Reform are talking about immigration and Boriswave again, they've got the cost of it all over headlines, we need you to read out this AI script about upping morotway speed limits that nobody actually sticks to anyway"
Rupert Lowe MP@RupertLowe10

A Restore Britain Government would raise the speed limit on British motorways to 80mph, and slash back 20mph zones other than around schools. Too much petty regulation has held Britain back for far too long - Restore Britain would gladly burn that all away.

Farage and Zia refuse to rule out revoking citizenship for members of the Boriswave if Labour u-turn on Mahmoods proposed ILR reforms. Very subtle hardening of language.

@bohrinng @maxtempers At 41:33 Nigel specifically says that he would never revoke the UK citizenship of anyone awarded it by the current government....

@charliecolecc @maxtempers It was very much couched as ‘we don’t want to have to get to that point but if Labour U turn on their proposed reforms we will be forced to to avert the fiscal disaster of the boriswave’

I don't foresee (reasonably) Reform ever committing to the mass expulsion of British citizens, but this highlights why the current ILR battle - which will be decided over the coming weeks and months - is the most important of them all when it comes to stopping the Boriswave.

Orban’s defeat shows that when we stand together against the politics of hate and division, hope wins and the far right friends of Farage can be defeated.
