⭐️Man of the Match!⭐️ Yesterday’s Man of the Match goes to hometown hero Josh Bolan, who was absolutely outstanding in the middle of the pitch in our brilliant 4-1 win at home to Ardeer Thistle! Josh scored a fantastic opening goal, as he both started & finished a ruthless counter attack. He then played a massive role in our third goal (which will be taken to the dubious goals panel) Overall, the 19 year old was on fine form yesterday, dominating his duels and bringing great quality to the game! Certainly making up for his red card a few weeks ago 😂 Well done Josh! ⚽️🟢🔵

After getting through a game of heady tennis in the first half, with a 2-1 lead at the break, Kilsyth put in a tremendous shift in the second half, making the right adjustments and scoring 2 goals in the second half to seal the deal! So much drama and controversy but Kilsyth take the win with Archibald and Hughes scoring the all important winning goals after McFarlane’s stunning equaliser in the first half! Greenock had to put a shift in with 10 men and worked extremely hard to stay in the game in the second half, having put themselves in a great position scoring early doors! RIP Macker 😢 We are devastated to learn that former FCStrikerz player, Mackenzie “Macker” Reece passed away during the early hours of Sunday. He sadly lost his long & courageous battle with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Macker was a popular boy, full of life, attending Turton High School so his passing will no doubt also affect the local community & his wider friend group. Mckenzie represented the club fantastically & previously played for Turton Tigers, CMB & Bolton County. Our thoughts & love are with Macker, his mum Paula & his family & friends at this difficult time. ❤️❤️
