@Sharking_Around @JoschuaKnuppe Mosasaurus was my favorite animal even before Jurassic World, so I was kinda excited to hear the new paper.

I guess they just left the connective coastal cartilage (or any cartilage) out. What would you expect in regards to a change? There wouldn't be all that much to change in my opinion, still a large animal, just a more collapsible chest cavity, nothing too substantial in regards to a shift in hypothetical ecology
