And can we talk about the @BorednHungry burgers—if you know, you know! 🍔🔥😋 I’m happy to have been part of the @baykada organizing team that made this event happen. Seeing the Ape community and so many amazing people come together like this was truly inspiring. There’s no other community with this much energy, passion, and vision. 🦍 Bullish on @BoredApeYC and Ape Chain. The future is looking brighter than ever, and we’re just getting started.

Dookey Dash: Unclogged Manila was a blast! 🪠 @baykada & @BoredApeYC proudly presents the 1st Dookey Dash event in Manila in partnership with @yugalabsgaming & @farawaygg Look back into the fun night in the sewers featuring Filipino gamers, burgers, prizes, & lots of freebies!

Definitely one of the best indeed! Understanding the thought process of these founders on how they plan out to involve their communities on the lore creation up to the game creation processes of their games are all note-worthy. Love to see the shift of focus from “just creating good games” to “creating good games with the community.” Which doesn't happen naturally on traditional game development set up. That IP building approach is definitely unique on web3 and will be our key differencing edge. I visited the event for just like ~2 hours but definitely impressed on a lot of things: 1. How @gabusch/@YieldGuild organized the event — it was smooth, outstanding and definitely suitable to be called the “gamescon” in Manila. The staff are very attentive and accommodating (huge s/o to @heyyovico: you're the best man!) 2. Of course, the Manila crowd. I'm 100% sure that the event participants are not prepared on how active web3 gaming in this country. - How huge Esports in this country - How active Filipinos are in gaming - How huge web3 is in the Philippines (The leading country in terms of crypto adoption) 3. For how web3 gaming has been flourishing compared to 2021—definitely more playable games, more mobile gaming integrations (this is very huge in APAC), and to see how more open and accepting people are on web3 games beyond the idea of “earning”.
