If a parent let their child be assaulted or murdered while saying "you'll understand later," we'd call that horrifying, not loving. Saying someone knows more doesnt make all just.

@SNS_Anon It's funny how hyper-skeptical atheists will be when it comes to Christianity (because atheists only hate the religion they know is true and don't bother with the rest), yet practically turn off their skepticism when it comes to everything else.

Growing up is realizing that most atheist arguments only sound good when you’re personally hurt by past religious experiences. That trauma literally acts as a filter that makes the most room temperature IQ, baseline level arguments sound profound to you because you’ve already emotionally rejected religion. Switch out “religion” with “history” in that exact sentence, and you’ll immediately see how stupid it sounds.
