Last night my cousin hosted our Cousins Book Club and made the most delicious beef bourguignon 😋 There’s a scene in ‘Remain’ where one character teaches another how to make this dish, so it felt especially fitting to enjoy it while discussing the book.#bookclub #fridaynight

@MickeyJoshNut I loved It’s Different This Time, but I was so happy The Cure for Drowning won! I was a bit surprised Minor Chorus didn’t go farther.

@bookishlynancy I bought all the books, but because of other committments, only got It's Different This Time read. I am going to read them in the order they were eliminated. I really thought the final 2 would be between The Cure for Drowning and A Minor Chorus.

This was my fifth year watching #CanadaReads and my fifth year reading all five book contenders before the debates. I’m so pleased that one of the books I was rooting for took the win! 🎉Yesterday, #TheCureForDrowning was crowned “The Book That All of Canada Should Read”.🇨🇦📚
