@BunnieNovaVT 1 or 2 for story reasons and are pretty traditional RE gameplay. 7 also works since it doesn't reference the past games much. 4 (OG or remake) might be easier gameplaywise to get into but references 2's story a tiny bit. 4 is otherwise mainly a self contained story.

I was originally just trying to see how RE9 Modern difficulty compares to Classic. For fun, I decided to give Leon all the healing items in the care center. Wasn't going for the "Never Touched the Stuff" achievement but got this far without needing to heal so I guess we'll see.
