@passeri_mazie @SullyBusiness I was in this exact situation except my degree was not in STEM and I had to go back to school for a year to even apply to medical school. It has been hard but best decision of my life!!

Friend of mine has a house, a wonderful wife, two great kids, a good job. And he’s quitting it to go back to grad school for a career he’s more “passionate” about. This will involve little income for a few years and 200k in loans. Wish I could stop him. “You must be passionate about your work” is the biggest lie my generation was sold.

@SullyBusiness Also really disagree with this tweet! Certainly a big risk and outcome could go either way but different strokes for different folks. I made a similar decision a few years ago and couldn’t be happier with the choice / outcome. We all have our own paths to fulfillment.
