In Spanish, the children have been designing their own Christmas jumpers using Spanish vocabulary 🎄🎁🎄

A huge thank you to our school community for supporting our summer fair on Saturday. Despite the rain, your generosity and community spirit meant we have raised an amazing £2720.02 🤩 It takes a lot of effort behind the scenes, so this certainly makes it all worthwhile 🙏

This morning, we have been playing a game in English to help us develop and apply our knowledge of prepositions. The children wrote some great sentences using prepositions and noun phrases, linked to our class book, ‘The Tin Forest’.

Today, we have used the new laptops within our computing lesson. A few teething issues but I am sure we will get there! We were investigating the advantages and disadvantages of simulations.

We have also been introduced to the mini trombones in our music lessons. They’re great fun! Thanks @LtdMinshall for giving our children the opportunity to try such a variety of instruments 🎺 🥁 🎸🎼🎤

Today we tested which material would be the best to keep our dinosaur dry in our science lesson.

In science today, we’ve continued our work looking at how absorbent materials are.

Our Come and See work has been focusing on saying sorry and forgiving others. Today we looked at what we can say to our friends when we need to talk through our issues. Look at those faces 🤣 we have some great actors in Year 2.
