@2147mill Undecided. Investing to build capital. Initially I want to help save for a house. Now im realising having capital in my ISA is stronger than not and I could retire off it or take a year or two out should it get high enough. I’m 1/10th from my goal for either.
English

@2147mill The fact is there will always be a new coin with better or worse structure. Monero has better privacy than BTC for example. Crypto is dead and just a gamblers paradise now with shitcoins
English

@UK_InvestingLTD Tell me about it, 50% returns mainly on $INTC
Semis market is insane right now

English

@OfficalWC @pelositracker @WhiteHouse Still not too late. I’m adding every dip and have been since 40$. Stop thinking short term potential and think where it will be in 5 years time. This is only year 1.
English

@2147mill Not taking enough risk on bets I was highly confident on.
Rolls Royce 2021
Intel 2025
A wins a win but I could have hit it big if I took more risk.
English

@awakenowzone Sold to move to ISA such that gains will be tax free. I have accumulated 250 shares now at average of 50$

English

@awakenowzone Lol I just remember drinking some beers with a friend at home after being told to invest in western digital by a angel investor. I saw intel was at 20 and thought damn that’s under valued considering AI boom and it still is competitive although lagging. Only put £500. Added since
English

We need a list of analysts that recommended buys on $INTC BEFORE it was popular… say in the $20’s. How do we get that list?

No.1 Intel $INTC
English

@bubbleboi By managing risk you mean sell all and buy more $INTC?
English

It’s all about managing risk folks.
bubble boi@bubbleboi
I’m really nervous about this market man I feel like my bubble might pop.
English

@2147mill Further adding
$INTC market cap is still less than $AMD
English

@2147mill Sold and converted into $INTC
AMD is fabless. Betting more on manufacturing.
AI one day can do all the design but it won’t be able to produce anything without a fab
English

@2147mill Never understood XRP to me it just seemed like bagholders similar to the whole NFT trend
English

@JUST_KAWS If 50 im all in if 100 i trim back my monthly deposits
English

@2147mill £800 to load on, buy more intel shares or have you got any better ideas🤷♂️
English

@2147mill 25 I don’t plan on fully retiring even if I hit the jackpot, would simply give me the freedom to work how I want when I want.
English

@PolitlcsUK The huge issue is the voting system. Most of us don’t want to vote reform or labour but we feel we have to. The sane of us want restore and the insane of us want greens. Neither party has enough traction but it’s likely there will be more wasted votes on conservatives/restore
English

@2147mill If you believe in the long term fundamentals then it’s worth the investment if you truly believe it is undervalued. I still have my $INTC for this reason and continue to buy every month over index funds. I will trim into index after 2030 as it is more stable
Growth then stability

Let me be honest about stock picking.
It can work.
But only if:
→ You get lucky on your picks
→ You can sit on your hands during 40-50% drawdowns
→ You have the discipline to never panic sell
→ You’re right consistently over decades
Most people have none of those things.
Meanwhile:
A simple index fund:
→ Zero stock research required
→ Historically beats 85% of active fund managers
→ Never requires you to be right about a single company
→ Just needs time and patience
The stock picker needs luck AND discipline.
The index investor just needs discipline.
Removing luck from the equation is the whole point.
Are you making investing harder than it needs to be?
