Every lesbian group, no matter how ‘old or dusty’ its members, has to contend with cross-dressing men who insist they be allowed to participate. If that weren’t happening, these women wouldn’t have had to bring this case.

There is not a single trans woman in Australia who wants to hang out with these dusty old losers. Imagine wasting the final years of your life obsessing over trans women. Sad people.

CIAMS Abolition Exploitation Reproductive@CIAMS_Coalition

ACRC Global has just published its report, "Surrogacy Statistics 2026." The global surrogacy market is projected to reach $28.91 billion by 2026. Projected annual growth: 22%. The Asia-Pacific region is identified as the "fastest-growing market". CAGR, market value, cost breakdown... this rhetoric isn't neutral; these are the financial markets' very own words. The report devotes an entire section to "success rates". Live birth rates per embryo transfer. Successful transfer rates per agency. Growth rates by region. Nowhere is the word "complication" mentioned. Nowhere is the word "trauma" mentioned. Nowhere is the name of a single country of origin for surrogate mothers mentioned. This isn't an accidental oversight. A report on surrogacy that doesn't mention the woman giving birth to the child a single time, except as a cost factor, really speaks volumes. And one last thing, the figures the industry doesn't release: 2 to 3 times more obstetric complications among surrogate mothers (BMJ 2024). 67% psychological sequelae (Jadva et al., reproduced in 2021). Women are human beings. acrcglobal.com/post/surrogacy… acrcglobal.com/post/surrogacy…

LGB Alliance Switzerland@lgb_alliance_ch

Today, we have sent the following letter to former sponsors of Zurich Pride Subject: Do Zurich Pride sponsors really need a slogan that promotes the mutilation of children? Dear former sponsor of Zurich Pride, We at the LGB Alliance Switzerland are writing to you with great concern. Many of you, like ourselves, have in the past clearly championed the rights of lesbians, gay men and bisexuals, standing against discrimination and for genuine acceptance. That is precisely why we hope that you will not support this year’s Zurich Pride slogan: ‘Protect Trans Queer Youth, Access Creates a Future’ (in German: „Protect Trans Queer Youth, Zugang schafft Zukunft“). What does this slogan actually mean? “Access” (Zugang) stands for rapid, largely uncritical access to puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgical procedures for minors. This also includes breast removal for young girls. According to data from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO), since 2018 more than a dozen female patients in Switzerland, some as young as 14, have undergone such surgery due to “gender dysphoria”. These procedures are often irreversible and frequently lead to sterility, anorgasmia and lifelong health problems. Zurich Pride, which originally emerged from the gay and lesbian community, now focuses almost exclusively on trans issues, effectively leaving lesbian, gay and bisexual young people out of the picture. Particularly alarming: a large proportion of the young people affected, especially girls, would probably simply be lesbian, bisexual or a “tomboy” without the current hype (A girl or young woman who displays behaviours and characteristics typically associated with boys or men in a particular culture, such as wearing androgynous or unfeminine clothing and engaging in activities traditionally considered masculine). Instead of carefully investigating the causes of these young people’s distress (trauma, autism, depression, internalised homophobia or social influences), they are sent straight down a medical path that permanently alters their bodies. Critics refer to this as a modern form of conversion therapy. Recent studies underscore these concerns: the Finnish registry study by Sami-Matti Ruuska and colleagues (Acta Paediatrica, April 2026) shows that mental health problems among these adolescents do not decrease following medical treatment; in many cases, they actually increase significantly. Similar findings emerge from the Cass Review in the UK, as well as from Sweden, Norway and Finland. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Medical Association (AMA) made it clear in 2026: due to insufficient evidence, surgical procedures on minors should generally be postponed until at least adulthood (19 years of age). As LGB Alliance Switzerland, we firmly reject any form of discrimination. However, we call for evidence-based, exploratory and primarily psychotherapeutic care, exactly as Finland has been implementing since 2020. Genuine protection of vulnerable young people means safeguarding them from irreversible harm, rather than medically ‘validating’ them. We urge you, as former sponsors, to consider whether you wish to associate your brand with a slogan that promotes potentially harmful measures on children and young people, including mastectomies for 14-year-olds. Your previous commitment to gay rights was valuable. Please remain consistent in this regard. We are happy to be available for an open discussion or to provide further information. We look forward to your response. Kind regards LGB Alliance Switzerland
