@zayurreal @Kunagnes1 This is cool. I never realized the other characters could see the effects. Even if they’re just seeing it in their mind it’s still a really good detail. It actually helps me understand the people in the slayer corps better and how godlike the Hashira look. Thanks for sharing it

@boreh32 @Kunagnes1 Oh I forgot to answer to your previous reply. The breathing effects can be seen and felt by the characters in the verse but Water Breathing doesn't literally make water or Stone breathing literally doesn't make Stones

@zayurreal @Kunagnes1 But doesn’t it feel a bit off to you that in a show where these kids struggle to move a boulder there’s a character who could possibly move at the speed of light? He could travel around the world over seven times in one second. Doesn’t quite feel right to me.

@zayurreal @Kunagnes1 It is a simple story. But it is one that relies on metaphor. That’s why they show all these vibrant powers whenever they get used. Even though they don’t actually summon fire or water when they use them. It shows them to you to illustrate how the move looks and feels.

I’m just saying that these things are often times used as metaphorical representations for the sake of illustrative language. “Lightning speed” is used to describe things that are fast in general.

It shows Tsuzumi Mansion Arc Zenitsu who is literally said to have Lightning speed which is 1/3-2/3 speed of light depending on the condition. And we are talking about Infinity Castle Zenitsu.

@zayurreal @Kunagnes1 Saying he “darts like a flash of light” does not mean he is actually light speed. It’s metaphor for the idea that it looks like he is emitting light not a measurement of top speed. We could just as easily use “in the blink of an eye” as the speed. It’s in the same box.

If you push quickly, the stone does not have enough time to start spinning at full speed. If you push slowly the stone starts to spin with the dowel. It’s essentially a big bearing with a stick.
