Matt Able is a better fit for this roster than Juke Harris would’ve been. Brown is at his best with the ball. Avdalas is the facilitator and connector. Able thrives without needing high usage. Shooting, spacing, and defense fit exactly what this backcourt needs. #GoHeels

After watching @FieldOf68’s UNC offseason preview, it got me thinking about realistic expectations for Year 1 under Michael Malone. I believe this team’s expectation should be a top-4 finish in the ACC and a trip to the Round of 32. If this group reaches the Sweet 16, Year 1 should be viewed as a major success and create real momentum heading into Year 2, when expectations around Malone will naturally rise.

@dombknowing Of course you aren’t doing your job if you don’t poke fun at Keita’s arrival. I get it. Truthfully, he is expected Aug and staff isn’t worried. This isn’t a Luka situation. Handlogten would be a phenomenal late addition, he’s a NC guy.

@IShowRingsss There was buzz with Rosser’s camp during the Davis era, and that momentum has only grown under Michael Malone. If anything, the push has intensified. Rosser is one of—if not the—top priority in UNC’s 2027 class.

@bornhatinduke I love the enthusiasm but is UNC developing actual buzz with him? Ik he went on the visit and that’s great ofc. But is there any word on his thoughts going on the visit? Buzz from his camp, family? Etc?

CJ Rosser has the opportunity to stay home and play for a blue blood under an NBA champion head coach. That’s tough to pass up. Kentucky is a serious contender, and Louisville has plenty to offer. Still, I believe Rosser ends up at UNC before National Signing Day. #GoHeels

@bornhatinduke Personally, IMO MM should be all on on this young man. He's a program changer and a player you can build your team around. AND he's a local kid. It's imperative to keep players in your home state in their home state. 🤞🏾🙏🏾

@_a_1_9_ UNC has the lean at the moment but I agree, this recruitment will come down to those 2 schools.

@bornhatinduke UK fan. It is definitely a UK or UNC option. Personally, I think they (UK) can land him. But we'll see, hopefully it's not a very very long recruitment.
