@LMcustomtuning "1 dn in the front, 2 up in the rear, and then you can stand a wheelie in 3th gear!" 😄

@borrowman_david Appreciate the input.
One of the things I got a kick out of when I was playing with AI for images was the play on the Rolls Royce logo that came from the name😄

1. Never shake a man’s hand sitting down.
2. Don’t enter a pool by the stairs.
3. The man at the BBQ grill is the closest thing to a king.
4. In a negotiation, never make the first offer.
5. Request the late check-out.
6. When entrusted with a secret, keep it.
7. Hold your heroes to a higher standard.
8. Return a borrowed car with a full tank of gas.
9. Play with passion — or don’t play at all.

11. Don’t let a wishbone grow where a backbone should be.
12. If you need music on the beach, you’re missing the point.
13. Carry two handkerchiefs.
One in your back pocket is for you.
One in your breast pocket is for her.
14. You marry the girl, you marry her family.
15. Be like a duck.
Remain calm on the surface and paddle like crazy underneath.
16. Experience the serenity of traveling alone.
17. Never be afraid to ask out the best-looking girl in the room.
18. Never turn down a breath mint.
19. A sport coat is worth a thousand words.
20. Try writing your own eulogy.
Never stop revising.
21. Thank a veteran.
Then make it up to him.
22. Eat lunch with the new kid.
23. After writing an angry email, read it carefully.
Then delete it.
24. Ask your mom to play.
She won’t let you win.
25. Manners maketh the man.
26. Give credit.
Take the blame.
27. Stand up to bullies.
Protect those being bullied.
28. Write down your dreams.
29. Take time to snuggle your pets.
They love you and are always happy to see you.
30. Be confident and humble at the same time.
31. If ever in doubt, remember whose son you are —
and REFUSE to be ordinary.

@Jhaddix Satire is just documentation with better engagement metrics. Thank you. The industry provides.

Last quarter I rolled out Microsoft Copilot to 4,000 employees.
$30 per seat per month.
$1.4 million annually.
I called it "digital transformation."
The board loved that phrase.
They approved it in eleven minutes.
No one asked what it would actually do.
Including me.
I told everyone it would "10x productivity."
That's not a real number.
But it sounds like one.
HR asked how we'd measure the 10x.
I said we'd "leverage analytics dashboards."
They stopped asking.
Three months later I checked the usage reports.
47 people had opened it.
12 had used it more than once.
One of them was me.
I used it to summarize an email I could have read in 30 seconds.
It took 45 seconds.
Plus the time it took to fix the hallucinations.
But I called it a "pilot success."
Success means the pilot didn't visibly fail.
The CFO asked about ROI.
I showed him a graph.
The graph went up and to the right.
It measured "AI enablement."
I made that metric up.
He nodded approvingly.
We're "AI-enabled" now.
I don't know what that means.
But it's in our investor deck.
A senior developer asked why we didn't use Claude or ChatGPT.
I said we needed "enterprise-grade security."
He asked what that meant.
I said "compliance."
He asked which compliance.
I said "all of them."
He looked skeptical.
I scheduled him for a "career development conversation."
He stopped asking questions.
Microsoft sent a case study team.
They wanted to feature us as a success story.
I told them we "saved 40,000 hours."
I calculated that number by multiplying employees by a number I made up.
They didn't verify it.
They never do.
Now we're on Microsoft's website.
"Global enterprise achieves 40,000 hours of productivity gains with Copilot."
The CEO shared it on LinkedIn.
He got 3,000 likes.
He's never used Copilot.
None of the executives have.
We have an exemption.
"Strategic focus requires minimal digital distraction."
I wrote that policy.
The licenses renew next month.
I'm requesting an expansion.
5,000 more seats.
We haven't used the first 4,000.
But this time we'll "drive adoption."
Adoption means mandatory training.
Training means a 45-minute webinar no one watches.
But completion will be tracked.
Completion is a metric.
Metrics go in dashboards.
Dashboards go in board presentations.
Board presentations get me promoted.
I'll be SVP by Q3.
I still don't know what Copilot does.
But I know what it's for.
It's for showing we're "investing in AI."
Investment means spending.
Spending means commitment.
Commitment means we're serious about the future.
The future is whatever I say it is.
As long as the graph goes up and to the right.

@USAginvestor Thats funny, I seen one like that about women the other day.
Good lookin + Sane = Not Single
Single + Good Lookin = Not Sane
Sane + Single = Not Good Lookin

@BenRand10 Reverting back to 1998
Old man - "Take your goddamn hand off the throttle"
😅😅 Now, when I'm in the combine and the grain cart keeps matching my speed. That's the first quote that comes to mind. Lol
English

@buperac You could be in the Hills of Nebo Grain cart driver got lost at dusk. Google Maps couldn't even save him. Lol

English

@Claypohlmann735 Not sure why they changed them. Older ones were all steel box that never caused a problem or had to replace.
English

@gavin_spoor It's a game changer compared to the other one. It'll definitely let you know which batteries are good and which ones can't hold much charge. We can blow off the combine 2.5x with two 12.0s.

English

Clean equipment is happy equipment.
I’m team leaf blower and grease gun at the end of the night. Nothing wrong with morning time, but I prefer not to wear that dust in the cab all day.
Plus inspecting the machine at night gives you the chance to be first in line at the parts counter if you find something is broken. Beats the hell out of wasting half the morning backtracking for parts.

English

@ksufearless We never used hand signals. All we had was cb chatter. "Get your god damn hand off the throttle" 😅
English

@RodSchwenneker @MarkChambers67 40 is when the piper told me I was paying the price! Few months ago I told my mother that I was struggling reading text. She gave me her cheaters. And now I have bought 5 pack off amazon to keep one everywhere. It's exhausting to learn when your on the downhill slope.
English

@MarkChambers67 Only young tough and indestructible once ! If you get older you will pay the piper the hard way. I have become a big proponent of hearing protection cuz I am paying the price.
English

@apasztor82 Make it vibrate! How's that going to help? I have no clue.. but it's all about marketing! That guy wiping windows is going to make the southern rust and anthracnose disappear!
English

@bandedagllc Baby steps, but we're heading in the right direction. Keep waiting for the Def headline.
epa.gov/newsreleases/m…
English

I’m gonna rant a tad AND not about the dealer nor mechanic. But this is becoming a sight too often on this tractor over something stupid as hell, the DEF system. I have spent thousands of $ so far and still no fix. We’ve replaced def header, cleaned filters, changed harnesses, and now the stupid dosing solenoid. At what point does this bullshit stop on these systems. Let alone how damn worthless and stupid they are on these machines and other countries don’t even have them. End of rant. Thank you, lol
