Zelensky should have gone to Gdańsk. He should have gone, talked, and looked for ways to de-escalate. That's what I said in my interview with @rzeczpospolita Yes, this situation is part of Poland's internal political struggle. But that doesn't relieve us of responsibility - we must not escalate things further. Poland has its own view of the UPA, and I understand that. But for Ukrainians, the UPA are heroes who fought for independence. As John Paul II said: "We forgive and ask for forgiveness." Arguing about who killed whom decades ago is a dead end.
