overflow-hidden vs overflow-clip
overflow: hidden
→ clips visually but still creates a scroll container
→ JS scroll (scrollTo) works
→ may leak edges with border-radius in some cases
overflow: clip
→ strict clipping, no scroll container at all
→ nothing scrolls (even via JS)
→ cleaner for masks & rounded UIs

Calendars shouldn’t navigate.
They should reveal information in place.
