Another thing to consider is the competitive landscape of Thai television. For years, CH7HD has been the dominant force in TV ratings, consistently commanding nearly half of the total television audience in Thailand. In comparison, CH3 typically holds less than 30% of the market. That's a significant difference in audience reach from the very start. Ironically, the show being used as comparisons against #LingOrm is aired on CH7HD—the network with the largest television audience—and some even benefit from more favorable timeslots. When you compare network performance overall, CH7HD generally outperforms CH3 in ratings regardless of whether it's a weekday or weekend broadcast. With all that context in mind, a 1.8 TV rating for Episode 1 is far from disappointing. In fact, it's a very encouraging start considering the timeslot, the day of broadcast, the network's smaller audience share, and the fact that this is still a niche genre compared to mainstream lakorns. In conclusion, comparing LO's ratings directly to shows airing on CH7HD is not an apples-to-apples comparison. They are broadcasted on different networks with vastly different audience shares, different viewing habits, and different levels of built-in reach. A more meaningful assessment is to evaluate how LO performs relative to other CH3 dramas in a similar timeslot and under similar circumstances.
