@Plankfan If you don’t pay it yearly they sue you for hundreds of thousands if not millions How much of that money actually goes to artists?? Why do you have to pay more if you allow people to dance?? There are 0 straight answers in that business

@Plankfan ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, then 2 or 3 random tiny (scam) ones all hit you up daily to take their yearly cut It goes by capacity and use- you pay more if you have DJs, Karaoke, Dancing Permitted, basically anything they can think of we pay $12k/year, larger venues I’ve seen $20-40k
