@thdxr Path 1 feels very vendor lock-in. Make it difficult to use data off platform so build everything in platform. Path 2 feels like the best user experience and product. Hard to raise $100m of venture funding to take path 2. We’re going strongly down path 2.

if you look around you can see everyone is completely confused about whether one: every product needs an agent or two: every product needs to plug into an agent users are already using everyone picking 1 or 2 and building infra for that and praying they're right

Running every prompt every day is the default in AEO tooling. It's also, in most cases, the wrong tradeoff. Daily cadence mixes prompt variance with temporal variance. Weekly cadence separates them: a wider net per run for prompt variance, and a cleaner week-over-week read on whether mentions and citations are moving as your content changes. If you're evaluating a content strategy, the second signal is the one that matters. In Bourd, you set cadence per prompt. Daily after a big content push, to measure time to signal. Weekly for prompts tracking active campaigns. Monthly for background prompts you want to keep tabs on.
