Not sure you’ll see a more blatant red card. That the referee, who can clearly see it, doesn’t give it is bad enough, but in an age of VAR the level of officiating in this country is just unacceptable.

@JamesPearceLFC 12 mths ago Slot was pretty much playing Klopp's way not heavy metal but similar style. Then this season he changed it completely for no reason, if it's not broke don't fix it it doesn't suit the players especially Mo so it's no wonder he & most of the players have dropped off.

Was a lot to unpack from Salah's comments. He's right that standards have slipped this season but he's also been part of that with his declining output. Liverpool haven't played 'heavy metal football' for a very long time, even Klopp moved away from that. And Salah certainly can't play that way at nearly 34. Only 12 months ago he was praising Slot's approach for getting the best out of him in winning the PL title.
