Don't tell me SARSCoV2 is NBD unless you can back up your vibe with peer-reviewed research that invalidates the half a million studies here: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/research/coron…

Even UKHSA's own page describes meningitis transmission as 'inhaling respiratory secretions'. That decoded means inhaling aerosols because droplets are too big to be inhaled. This is important because it tells you that respiratory protection is unquestionably needed. 2/

@LoneWolfMasker @JasonS1269 Ah ok my bad! Will delete my repost and amend! Glad you don't have it but sorry you have ME 😞 And yes Jason has spoken too of both diseases. His experience has been horrific.

@bowditch71 Slight correction Vicky, I haven't had Covid to the best of my knowledge so I don't have LC (to the best of my knowledge). The person who does know what happens in this situation is @JasonS1269 and it is not good. Not good at all.

When a pwME gets LC and tells you they are different diseases, maybe you should listen to them.
Lone Wolf Masker@LoneWolfMasker

@LazarusLong13 Me. I have ME. I've had it since Dec 07. I'm like you, my advocacy is born out of survival issues. I can't afford to get sicker than I already am. I also know, LC is NOT ME. They share some over lapping symptoms but are not the same.

"Don't properly protect yourself from meningitis - you might remind people of the even more prevalent disease that we're trying to pretend magically disappeared so that people spend money in restaurants." - @UKHSA 🤡
K8@CoastalK8

This encapsulates all that is wrong with IPC & PH messaging in relation to masking post 2020. - Do not mask! - It’ll “cause panic” - It’ll “remind ppl of covid”. - “Its not the same as covid” Public health should be about HEALTH not politics nor feelings nor revisionism.

The Covid Inquiry Module 3 report published just this week made it clear that it is no longer appropriate to rely on the outdated dichotomy between aerosols & droplets. Where there is droplet transmission, there is also a high probability of aerosol transmission.

Next level of stupidity unlocked: Make Fun of the Neuropathologist Level (reaction to pointing out the well-established data supporting brain damage from SARS-CoV-2) Dear Sarah, Would you take the news better if it came from a cognitive scientist? (me) College student data?
Sarah Kate Oliver@skateflowers98

This has to literally be one of the top five dumbest posts I’ve ever seen. I don’t think I realized someone could be so stupid as to blame repeat Covid infections on how terrible kids have become in school. I cannot eye roll hard enough.

It's COVID. Meningitis and measles? Bacterial infections? Immune system fucked from COVID. Strokes and heart attacks? Heart and vascular damage. Kids cognitive and developmental issues? COVID. Cancer through the roof? COVID Excess deaths are sky high since COVID.

Cancer rates in younger people bounding around the globe. Given that my brother and I both had cancer diagnoses young (him at 30, me at 41), I'm extremely fascinated by what is happening here. #selection-6483.4-6483.82" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">archive.is/5pzAu#selectio

During the Covid inquiry, one of the independent expert witnesses was asked: “Is there any scenario or situation where someone could produce a droplet without ALSO generating significant amounts of aerosols?” Prof Beggs (expert in infectious disease transmission) replied: “NO”

As evidence to @covidinquiryuk demonstrated, everything classed as 'droplet' is actually the decades old wilful, socially murderous ignorance in medicine of aerosol (airborne) transmission. Too arrogant to grasp that -gasp-medical education barely scratches surface of science.
LET'S AIR@nousaerons

We've updated our infographic on diseases that can be transmitted through the air we breathe, adding Norovirus. Most viruses can survive for one to several hours in a poorly ventilated room. See the excellent article in @nytimes on this topic: nypost.com/2026/02/14/hea…

Waves of covid infection makes whole populations more vulnerable to other infections - ones that sweep through the whole population, and ones that occur in pockets and clusters.

Don’t worry about meningitis, COVID, the cost of living, the impending climate catastrophe, AI taking everyone’s jobs (and water), authoritarianism, complicity in a genocide or the fact we are now AT FUCKING WAR on the side of the criminal aggressor. Stay calm, go to work, shop.

@MichaelRosenYes @DebsFrazer Reminiscent of the widely reported paediatric hepatitis outbreak in 2022, which ‘the experts’ said was definitely not Covid related. Until they found out it was and nobody reported that! So the public remain blissfully unaware of one of the many, many things Covid can do.
Dr David Berger BSc MBBS MRCP(UK) FRACGP-RG DTM+H@YouAreLobbyLud

Yes. The kids' hepatitis was directly due to SARS-COV-2. Not Adenovirus. Quelle surprise. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
