'THE CAGE, WITH HUMAN SOUL AND PARTS!' feels like a dead ringer for the Vessel. Especially because that is essentially what the Vessel is.

honestly i feel like the fact that mystery_man is not officially confirmed to be gaster is something that is very often forgotten by the community

Aside from that this eerie resemblance mystery_man shares with the baby titan is very, very interesting.

The only issue is that mystery_man has never been officially confirmed to be gaster by toby (he even poked fun at the community hc in that one tumblr post) until now, the only thing im inclined to believe toby has canonized is gaster's hand holes which are a prominent feature -
