But ya’ll I’m so proud of myself, to see myself in a store that is just a few minutes from where I grew up in the Bronx. I’m at the Parkchester location, just minutes from my elementary school, minutes from my childhood home…

and see my face and my products! Shout out to the @tjmaxx buyer I worked with for putting my ties in the NYC stores, Lord knows I would’ve driven across the country to see them in person if I had to ☺️

I was so frustrated and discouraged that I seriously considered stopping all together. But I’m so happy that I didn’t because after getting through that, there is no way to describe how it feels to to pull up to my old hood in my new whip 🚗 and walk into a store
