with how much trouble Volkanovskis jab gave Islam i think GSP, who has just as good of a jab as volk, better wrestling and a 5 inch longer reach would be a nightmare for Islam. interesting matchup though

@bruhmoment3002 Saying Volk came on short notice doesnt justify as he accepted the fight so he was ready. Also if it went to later rounds you could argue preparation wasnt the best but when you get knocked out first round there is no excuse for that.

@bruhmoment3002 Maybe a bad day in the office he said he wasnt best prepared with how the Australian dehyration clause etc and he looked weak in the fight. I said he would come back the better fighter in the second and the knockout in first round showed it.

@qweqweeqwe61799 it wasnt so much a chin thing as it was a timing thing. Volks frequent stance switching was a big thing in that fight though, and GSP isnt nearly as good at switching as Volk is.
