@ilyalicious I once read a fic where it was abundantly clear the writer is British. I have many gripes with the fic but I had to close the tab when ilya was at a Taylor swift concert and ended his sentence with "innit" and I felt my soul shrivel up and die a little.

I think episode 4 of heated rivalry is a great look at the external and internal homophobia and heteronormativity that contextualizes a lot of shane's behaviour/thoughts ultimately culminating in him dating rose and it does the episode a huge disservice to ignore that :)
