Asking them about the code they wrote in the same context window results in paragraphs of unreadable slop. This can be mitigated by asking them to explain more clearly (e.g. using ASD-STE100 style writing), but it's a chore, and they always drift back into the Claude voice

been using models for coding again at work after not heavily using them since dec 25/ jan 26
my general view is that the models are smarter, like P(one-shot) is higher. Token efficiency and obedience have noticeably regressed. Also they are *really* hard to talk to now!

This is just a big city problem. If you live in a little more country side area or even just suburb, your neighbors or parents etc take care of the ur kids every once in a while. This is why you work in the city when your young and then move back to the country side

@henrylhtsang sql is mostly easy and will change your brain for the better so i'd recommend learning it even if the robot overlords are better
maybe git too? although tbh anything more complex than amending a commit I ask claude to do it; it's less friction than remembering how rebases work
