The Blockchain Payments Consortium was formed to address these challenges head-on. Our mission is to define a common framework that connects blockchain ecosystems, payment providers, and regulators, enabling safe, frictionless, and compliant transactions across networks.

Blockchain is already transforming global payments, with over $15T settled onchain in 2024, surpassing Visa and Mastercard combined. Yet, businesses and institutions still face friction: inconsistent compliance standards, fragmented networks, and a lack of shared frameworks for interoperability.
