@TomFlanaganUSA Ok. Agree to disagree. This is fairest for all. Geography in such a small state shouldn’t carry the advantages it did for all those years. This is 100% more fair for all high schools in Massachusetts. Not some arbitrary boundaries. Theres really no logical argument to that.

I have been open-minded but after a few years, I don’t know how a CMass school administration can like the statewide format for basketball. It has sapped all the energy. As of today’s rankings, only 3 CMass teams across 5 divisions are in the top 8.

The narrative that “kids and coaches love it” is simply not true. I know this from talking with coaches, I know this as a parent of a student-athlete, and to a lesser extent, as a media person. It’s mostly uneventful and diminished the experience of kids from Central and West

Last night, I lost my brother Erik. My heart has been ripped out completely. My head is spinning and just in shock.
We never took pictures together, but so glad I have this one (he is behind me).
He was such a great brother and hope he knows how loved he was.

Such a special group! The growth each of these kids showed in a years time was unreal. All the complaining about “kids these days” “this generation” is unfounded. These guys let me push and coach them hard everyday and it’s an absolute pleasure walking in that gym everyday.
