Check out this work I did during my PhD, simulating abdominal aortic aneurysm mechanics during #ultrasound procedures.
The effect of probe pressure was investigated via #FEM applied to patient geometries from clinical #CT image data.
Last Wednesday I had the chance to present my PhD work on Ultrasound Probe Pressure in Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Mechanics at thE #ICCB2023 in Vienna!
Not only a fantastic conference, with plenty of interesting talks, but also a stunning location!

#OnThisDay 155 years ago, the first woman to receive a Nobel prize was born: Marie Skłodowska-Curie!
Today, the @MSCActions 🇪🇺 fellowship bears her name and helps young scientists in their research.
We will keep supporting them towards a better future for our next generations.
