The past 24 hours have been absolutely insane.
Road to Vostok is currently Top Seller in many countries, front page on Steam and with Very Positive rating.
I will share some launch stats when I have gathered enough data (+ some sleep), but I can already say that the launch has been extremely successful for a solo dev and secured the entire production budget for this game for years and years to come.
Thank you!
When sites ask permission to host them all I ask in return is that the credit section is untouched or at least still legible & that the maps are not locked behind a paygate of any sort. I will keep sharing the PSDs but stuff like this makes me wonder if I should do it differently
There is a site that host my maps but removed all mentions of me (& anybody else who helped) as the creator of those maps. They've even used AI to remove the smaller mentions of my name from the environments & stamp it with a different name. On their site they ask for donations
@DynastyRich I can almost "tell" the time you grew up based on this list. Mainly cos I'm clearly in the same period. I do question having one Eminem album and one zeppelin album and multiple emo kid albums (Dashboard and TBS) but as you said, that's the beauty of music, the most subjective!

How many of these do you love too? Which ones are in your all-time rotation? What am I totally missing—even though it's all subjective! Drop your favorites, your "must-hears," or the ones you think deserve a spot instead. Let's Nerd out over music.
Music is one of life's greatest gifts—pure, transformative magic that's deeply subjective. No two people hear it the same way, and that's what makes discovering (or rediscovering) a truly great album so special.
It's incredibly rare to find one that's terrific all the way through: no skips, no filler, just a cohesive journey that flows seamlessly, hits every emotional note, and leaves you changed. When that happens, you don't just listen—you *live* inside it. The world quiets, time bends, and for those 40–80 minutes, you're fully immersed in someone else's soul. Those moments are gifts, and I'm endlessly grateful every time one finds me.

Finally finished my sleeve tattoo that I started back in May!
Huge thanks to Adam at Monumental Tattoo for turning my vision into reality.
It's a beautiful collage of everything I love most in life—things that mean the world to me.
Beyond thrilled with the result. This one's forever.
@Jean_Tengri@tarkov@bstategames Ai still not being able to path through locked doors is cray cray. It made terminal terribly easy when it first launched
Please let me know which AI-related bugs annoy you, as well as which AI features work well, so I can better understand where to go next. I'll try to prioritize them

On this thread, what are the good single player games I have missed in the last few years? I haven't gamed much, the only single player game I can think of is TOTK that I have played
Expedition 33 next on the list for sure
I think I'm partially transitioning to full boomer. On a long flight right now, bought Star Wars Outlaws for my Switch 2... Loving it. Easy, just kind of like playing a movie, I love those games. Loved Uncharted. If I want a challenge/competition I want it to be against real people e.g. Warzons/Redsec, not some code somebody wrote. Zero interest in dark souls/elden ring style games
Soon I will be begging for Warzone movement to be slower :P
@roadtovostok Hi Antii, just wondering if there is a RtV discord server code? Trying to keep up with the AMD to Godot bug stuff as 25.9.2 is not playing nicely with a lot of PC's etc atm
Hi! Tomorrow I will be doing this Demo Post-Mortem / Developer Plays Megastream thing.
Stream starts around 5PM (EEST).
There will be quite funny moments for sure when self-reflecting from those old "legacy demos" all the way to the latest Next Fest demo :)
@pcgamer "PC Gamer finally finds out that Road to Vostok has had a playable demo on Steam for over a year and it's the most terrified I've ever been of the lack of journalism."
